How do I enter APN Internet settings on my Nokia Series 40 phone?

This is a question most people who have downloaded opera mini or other browsing software ask why because they want to browse free.

Well now i have the answer for you below

Starting from the point where you have already downloaded and installed Opera Mini, but you are unable to load pages:
Go into Settings.
Go into Configuration.
Go into Personal Configuration Settings.
Now, press Add New (visible if you don’t have a previous Personal Setting created) or press the Options button. When you have pressed the Options button, choose Add new.
When you have pressed Add New, you will get a new menu, which will give several options to choose from.
Now, scroll down and choose the Access Point and press Select. (Please note that this option is not available on the Nokia 3220 model and maybe on some more models, you can instead use the Services option instead of the Access Point option on the Nokia 3220.) Do not choose the Web option, since this will not work with Opera mini.
Now go into Access Point Settings.
Go into Bearer Settings.
Go into Packet Data Access Point.
Now, enter you APN address corresponding to your provider. Then press OK.
Go back to the Personal Configurations Settings menu, where you now should be able to see an Access Point selected.
Now press the Options button, and then choose to activate this Access Point.
Now you should be able to start Opera Mini, and try to load a link on your phone.
If you are still having problems with your Nokia S40 2.0 model of phone, please make sure that you have entered all the required information into the APN setting concerning proxy, user name, password, port etc.

1. Go to Opera website and download Opera 6. 52.

Go to http://www.operamini.com/ and download Opera mini for your phone.

3. Install PC suite for your phone in your PC.

For Nokia PC Suite Visit http://dailymobile.se/ or any other site

4. Configure your PC Suite with this setting: Username: web, Password: web, APN/Access Point: web. gprs. mtnnigeria. net.

5. Configure your Opera Mini by going to Menu, Settings, Network, then scroll down to where you will see Opera IP, type: loaded. mtnonline. com@80. 232. 117. 10:80. Uncheck server error and save.

6. For Opera 6. 5 homepage, type: loaded. mtnonline. com@proxy1. info

7. Lunch Internet from PC Suite and use Opera 6. 5 to browse. You can equally check other versions of Opera browser.

ANOTHER WAY TO BROWSE ON YOUR PHONE FREE

1. Go to your phone Setting and locate Configuration. Check on Personal Configuration. Select MTN (if it’s there) or create New Profile by clicking Option.

2. In the Account Name, type MTN WAP; Homepage, type hxxp: loaded. mtnonline. com@www. google. com/gwt/n

3. After typing, click OK. Username is: web; Password: web.

4. In the User Preferred Access Point, select NO. Access Point: click OK. Proxy: select Enable. Proxy Address: type 10. 199. 212. 2. Proxy Port: 8080.

5. Data Barrier: select Packet Data. Then Barrier Setting: select OK. Access Point: type web. gprs. mtnnigeria. net and click OK.

Network Type: select IPV4. Authentication: select NORMAL.

Username: web and Password: web.

Enjoy free browsing on your phone.

NB: If you have credit in your phone, the browsing will gradually deplete it. So, make sure that you don’t have credit in your phone before browsing. THANK YOU.

Still not satisfied Here is another way out:

1-Go to nokia's website download and install nokia general pc suit

2-get opera 8.65 or any older version. Zain users, u don't need this. I don't knw much about glo.

3-on the pc suit, click on the "connect to internet" icon, u'll see "setting", click on it and put in ur apn, username and password.

4-connect ur fone to the pc tru usb cord.

5-go to internet explorer, click on tools>internet options>connections>click on always dial my default connection>click on settings and enter ur ip and part, mark the use a proxy server..... and mark bypass the proxy server...> then click ok.

6-click on lan settings>enter ur ip and port>mark the use a proxy...>mark bypass p... click ok, then click on apply. For zain users, thats all.

For mtn users, open the opera, click on tools>preferences>network>proxy servers>enter your MTN IP and Port in the four spaces, leave the fifth space empty, click on ok>ok.
